Performance has always been important to me as a music educator. Whether it is in a large group, small ensemble or as a soloist, being able to share our expertise with an audience helps bring the arts to the community. It also helps us share our experiences with our students and know how they feel when they are performing. Music was always meant to be shared and communicated. When we enjoy performing, our students enjoy performing.
